Long Week for the Hounds

The Hounds had a long week of basketball as they played four games in five days! The Hounds battled hard all week but we're only able to muster out a win versus Calhoun on Friday for the Courtwarming game as they faced some tough conference competition earlier in the week, which included the #3 ranked team in the state Wellington Tigers. The Hounds were able to defeat Calhoun 77 to 58 on Friday in front of a capacity crowd. Daniel Sanders led the Hounds with a career high 36 points, which included 9 three pointers, which is a school record for three pointers in a game. Ryan Hamilton also contributed in a big way, scoring 20 points, grabbing 19 rebounds, assisting on 5 baskets, and blocking 4 shots. Zane Anstine and Dillon Johnson both contributed 8 points for the Hounds. The Greyhounds will finish off their regular season with games this Thursday at Smithton and this Friday at Cole Camp. They then play Archie the following Monday in the first round of districts at Adrian. We hope you will come out and support the Hounds as they try to make a run in the postseason!
