First Victory!

Windsor defeated Crest Ridge Friday night in exciting fashion 59 to 57. Crest Ridge was up against it without their 6’7’’ center Alex Everhart, but the rest of their team really stepped up to fill his shoes and played Windsor tough the entire game. Windsor found themselves down 28 to 24 at halftime and had some foul trouble issues in the first half that limited what the Greyhounds could do. The Greyhounds got big minutes from its bench as Chase Drenon, Zane Anstine, and Trenton Scott came in and played crucial minutes to keep the Greyhounds in it. Windsor came storming back in the second half, and after some clutch free throw shooting by Zane Anstine and Matt Madole, the Hounds found themselves tied at 57 with 6 seconds left. The Hounds then inbounded from the sideline to Daniel Sanders, who drove through the middle and scored the winning basket at the buzzer to give the Greyhounds their first victory of the season! Windsor will play in their home opener on Friday, December 18th against the Concordia Orioles. We hope to see you there!
